
Lewis Greene is Senior Vice President for Animal Care and Conservation at the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium which has a diverse population of over 9,000 animals and contributes more than $1 million annually to conservation projects around the world. His past experience includes serving as CEO/Executive Director of Fresno Chaffee Zoo, Executive Director of Virginia Zoo, and Director of Prospect Park Zoo (WCS). He currently serves on the AZA's Wildlife Conservation Management and Honors and Awards committees. He served as chair and advisor for the AZA Ethics Board and Charter and By-Laws Committee. He is a former SSP Coordinator for the Baird's tapir, Tapir TAG chair, and member of the IUCN Tapir Specialist Group.
